Is this actually free?
Yes — material and machine time are covered by the club's budget for school use. We keep a running log so admin can see what's being printed and why.
What can you print (and what can't you)?
Almost anything under about a shoebox in size: models, manipulatives, organizers, replicas, brackets. We can't print anything meant as a weapon, anything that violates copyright, or anything needing food-safe or medical-grade material — we're not certified for those yet.
How long does it take?
Most requests move from submission to pickup in about a week: 1–2 days for design review, a few days in the print queue depending on how busy we are, plus finishing time. Flag a hard deadline and we'll try to work around it.
Do I need to send a 3D file?
Nope. Describe what you need and we'll design it, or send a reference photo or link and we'll model it from scratch. If you already have an STL, that jumps the design step entirely.
Can I request a class set (20–30 copies)?
Yes — just note the quantity on the form. Large batches take longer since they run overnight across multiple printers, so give us extra lead time.
